Mandy Lane (Amber Heard) is the most popular girl in her school; oddly after becoming “fucking hot” over the summer and thus becoming the spank material for every boy in the school. After the tragic (accident) demise of an ‘all American jock’ at the hands of her closest friend, Mandy is forced to look elsewhere for friends. A group of admirers ask her to join them on a ranch in the middle of nowhere for a little R&R… and not forgetting the sex, drugs and alcohol!

Of course, it isn’t too long before the group are being dispatched of one by one at the hands of a hooded figure, but who is this hooded loon and why are they so hell-bent on making poor Mandy Lane’s life a tragic and lonely one?

All The Boys Love Mandy Lane is a horror film not unlike its protagonist. Come on, how many beautiful blondes are there? How many teenage slasher flicks are there? Why is this any different to every other blonde/slahser? To be honest, there’s NO difference – it’s riddled with the genre cliché’s and full with un-likeable characters; so why should you bother watching this you ask? Well, despite all of its short comings, it’s still an enjoyable little slasher flick!

There's something timeless about watching a stupid little slut having a double-barreled shotgun shoved into her mouth and having her teeth smashed in, isn't there? It's one of those things, not unlike a damn good beer, that just makes you want to stand up and applaud it's creators. As much respect as I have for shotgun chugging, the same can't be said for the final reveal and plot twist – it's so painfully obvious that it can't be seen as a twist at all. It's what also stops this fun little movie from being more than an average slasher – shame really.

All the boys may certainly love Mandy Lane, but all horror fans will certainly not. The acting is better than should be expected and the visual flair is impressive, too bad that the story really doesn't have an ounce of originality to it. Slasher fans will be rewarded, but regular viewers will find themselves a little let down by what could have been a very taunt little slash 'em up.
