Review by Annie Riordan
Night Watch agent Anton is up to his man-tits in problems. He’s
falling in love with Svetlana, a new Night Watch agent that he’s
supposed to be training. He’s still trying to get his son back from
the Dark Ones and out from under the influence of Zavulon, their
leader. And as if all that were not enough, he’s being framed in a
series of murders amongst the members of the Day Watch. As the
authorities close in and war threatens to erupt, Anton, with the
help of his faithful friend Olga, goes looking for the Chalk Of
Fate, a magical stick of chalk which can erase the events of the
past and literally rewrite the present!
Did you see Night Watch? Did you like it? Cuz if you did, you will
fucking LOVE Day Watch. Every bit as action packed as the original,
Day Watch also packs a more powerful emotional punch and is also a
lot funnier than the original, something I hadn’t anticipated.
There’s body switching, weird quasi-lesbian sequences, blood, and
yes...that goddamned freaky little rubber babydoll with the spider
legs is back.
