Cho Yi-Hang is unhappy with his lot in life. As the
successor to the Wu Tang clan throne he is interested in a
more serene life. He meets Lien the killer of an evil cult
who also unhappy with her life destroys everyone she is told
to. They fall in love and plot to leave their current lives
and become recluses. That plan angers both the Wu Tang clan
and the evil cult.
The Bride With White Hair is obviously a take on Romeo and
Juliet, but unlike most it ventures to mix things up a
little. Playing with conventions and offering a fantastic
ending. There is not much I can point out that is not to
like in this film. The story is great; the acting is great,
the lighting, set, costumes and cinematography is top notch.
I could have done with one or two more action sequences. |

Easily one of the
most beautifully done and exciting movies I have seen in
some time. It is hard at times to see this movie for all the
originality that it has when I have watched all the movies
that have ripped of scenes from it first, but a quick
internet search helps to clear that up. The Bride With White
Hair should be in everybody’s collection. |
